American: The Melting Pot of Dreams

We have come along way as a country and are continuing to push on to greater heights.  We all strive to perfection as best as we all can.  In my opinion, it seems like money is a huge part of the American Dream because money has become such a huge part of American life.  Everything in this world, in the long run, centers around money and how much of it you have.  Although some of us are not born into a lot of money I think that everyone is given an equal oppurtunity from the moment they are born into this world.  Everyone has the ability to do great things with their lives and i think that this is the starting point of an american dream.

    I totally agree with you. You don't necessarily have to be born into money, but as americans, we all have the opportunity to make money.

    I don't think money is everything. MLK wanted equality for his children, you can't put a price on that.

    I agree with you to a point. Yes money plays a big part in the americans life, but i don't believe that it is all they seek.
